Mr Gudi works as a full-time NHS Consultant Gynecologist at Homerton Fertility Centre in London, sub-specialising in management of sub fertility, assisted conception and endometriosis.
Mr Gudi specialises in fertility care for couples on a holistic basis and provides services such as pre pregnancy advice, ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, ICSI, Egg Freezing, Egg Donation and Surrogacy along with keyhole surgeries to enhance fertility for various problems including tubal blockages, fibroids and endometriosis.
Mr Gudi has been a consultant with the NHS since 2005. He has been the medical director of the Homerton fertility centre and has been the HFEA person responsible for the centre since 2008. He ,with Mr. Shah has led a change at the Homerton fertility centre leading to improvements in the results and the quality of service at the centre. During this period the Homerton fertility centre has seen a massive growth 0f 300% with significant improvements in patient results and experience. Mr Gudi has also leads a successful endometriosis service at the Homerton hospital and offers advice and treatment to women with endometriosis related pain and /or infertility. This a unique specialist service in East London.
Academically, Mr Gudi is involved in a number of research projects and regularly teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students at Homerton Hospital, London.
He lectures nationally and internationally on various fertility problems including PCOS and endometriosis. He is published widely in medical journals and a member of many international and national professional organisations.
Mr Gudi is actively involved in doing unique research between the UK and India. His primary research interest in India is in trying to find the differences and the effects of polycystic ovaries in Indian women. This study has led to better understanding of polycystic ovaries in Asian women. He has recently been awarded a honorary professorship in India for his collaborative research work.
Mr Gudi enjoys reading and has a huge interest in philosophy and history.
With Amit Shah who is also a full time NHS Consultant Gynecologist at Homerton Fertility Centre in London, Mr Gudi provides a unique and ethical private fertility service under Fertility Plus Limited.
Mr Gudi sees couples privately at the Spire Roding Hospital fertility services and London Fertility Centre, where he consults privately.
